Hey everyone, I'm your GoSouthExpat.com webmaster and I want to give the Ecuador Expat community a virtual pat on the back for being so active in our Ecuador Expat Forum. Since I lived several years in Cuenca as a child it's especially cool for me to be able to keep up with how things are in Ecuador through your eyes and ears. I currently live in Bolivia where GoSouthExpat.com is now headquartered.

I've noticed you're all very active in our Ecuador forum and also in our Free Classifieds section, both in posting questions/classifieds and responding to others - that's the whole point of building this free website for you and I'd like to congratulate you for that. I hope you've been finding both sections very useful in communicating with each other.

I'm also hoping you'll help us with something. I'm especially interested in your opinions of local Ecuadorian restaurants, hotels and schools as Ecuador is one of the top expat destinations in South America at this time. We're especially interested in growing these sections precisely because so many people are considering Ecuador (Cuenca and other cities) as possible places to move or retire.

Would you guys be willing to share your thoughts, opinions, recommendations (or warnings against) certain hotels, restaurants and schools in Ecuador (any city or town)?
