Airports in Uruguay
There are only two main airports in Uruguay. The Carrasco International Airport has its own very nicely organized website with information on flights, airlines, car rental, taxis and shuttles, passenger services and much more. It has an “English” button but that portion of the website is not yet available. The Uruguayan Civil Aeronautics Division website has lots of information about airstrips in Uruguay. Uruguay’s only other major airport is the Punta del Este Airport. It is actually a Naval facility but because it is near the popular vacation resort of Punta del Este, some flights leave from here to Punta del Este seasonally.
