We're really happy to let everyone know Dale Cowling and Jarrad Anderson have been located and are alive and safe in Pichilemu, Chile, one of the hardest hit areas of Chile. Not only was the region devastated by the 8.8 earthquake on 27 February, it was further demolished by the ensuing tsunami that has flooded Pichilemu and many other towns along the coast of Chile.

Thanks to the dozens of people who called, chatted, tweeted and helped out! On Twitter Surfers_Cottage and Antonella Muratti, on Facebook the Glass Pichilemu surfer's group, on the TVChile live forums dozens of anonymous Chileans who, although also victims of the quake made every attempt to make local phone calls and emails, and everyone else who provided even the tiniest amount of information.

Dale's sister Hayley sends out this special message:

"We have been so overwhelmed by the help that the Chileans have provided, you have been absolutely amazing."
