Clothes

by Teresa Brown
(NY --- Santa Cruz)

If you are a large and lovely woman, by ALL means, bring ALL the clothes, formal and casual, shoes, belts, coats, robes for summer and winter, a bathing suit if you want to swim in a pool, bras, underwear, etc. that you can! The clothes and footwear here is made by and for Chinese-size people. They have places where you can have outfits made, but... it can be very difficult...trust me!!!!!!!!!!!! There are some Brazilian clothing stores, but they go up to size 44, maybe.

Where I live, the air temperatures in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, range between 38-98 degrees F. There is a lot of rain and mud, strong sun and winds. The weather changes frequently! Bring clothes for all types of weather. It's SUPER-SUPER expensive to ship clothes to Santa Cruz. Your best bet is to roll them and put them in suitcases and pay the extra fees that the airlines charge.
