Hi there, My boyfriend (American) and I (Malaysian) are interested in moving to Ecuador. We are considering Cuenca. I'm wondering whether there are specific areas that have high volume of expats? If there are, could someone please list them out for us?

Also, could we stay in Ecuador under the 90-day tourist visa and do a visa run for a while until we are certain about making Ecuador our new home?

What are the reliable websites to look for house/apartment to rent in Cuenca or Ecuador in general. Or is there any trustworthy real estate agent whom we can seek assistance from?
