We live a very rural area of Alaska and we are currently in Costa Rica but will be in Cuenca next Tuesday and Wednesday. Looking for semi rural areas around Cuenca we could visit on a day trip to evaluate for future home. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Have you been to Cuenca yet?

If you are still in the process or coming to Cuenca I suggest you check out www.retire-in-ecuador.com and www.cuencaproperties.com They have been extremely helpful for many expats coming to Cuenca and are very trustworthy and honest. I know many folks who have nothing but praise for their help.
