No way am I putting my name on this! But I thought other expat women should know that tampons are difficult to find in many places of Latin America. Many women here believe that if they use them they won't be virgins any more. Finding them in stores is difficult even in some large cities, although in recent years they've become more common as people begin to understand a) how they work and b) that they won't do the damage they believe they will. Geez, how embarrassing. But I thought you should know. If you're accustomed to using them, definitely bring some along!
