Meeting Gringos in Cuenca by: Karen
On Friday nites there are usually gringos at Zoe's and some goe to Eucalyptus on Gran Columbia. Both are restaurants. I dont know the name of the street for Zoes, but your hotel can give you directions. Alot of Gringos congregate at Kookabura on Calle Larga (closed tue & wed) or California Kitchen. On Sundays in Parque Calderon you usually see a few gathering together to talk around 11-1. The blogs noted on the Gringo Tree are helpful. Most of those folks will be glad to meet with you or assist you in getting to any of the "gringo places" noted above.
