looking for gringo foods in quito

by Al Walles
(Quito, Ecuador)

I'm looking for stuff for a T Day dinner. People have said that supermaxi has cranberry sauce (which I haven't found yet), but I'm interested in whether or not anyone has found stuff that we normally would use in the U.S.

Also how about U.S. type furniture. Every thing down here seems so square and wooden, not rounded and cushioned like I had in the US.

And, oh by the way, I'm an XL in the US and I bought a XXL long sleeve shirt here and it still seems small.

HELP!!!!!!! It seems like I have to return to the US to buy everything I like and then have it ship here. There has to be some happy medium in Quito.

Thanks for any info you might have.
