Meet Ups in Cuenca for US expats.

I am planning a move to Ecuador and thought it would be a good idea to establish some connections before I do. I have a trip planned in December thru January, 2012 for three weeks to explore my possibilities. I would like to have a meet up while I am in Cuenca and get together with other Americans or English speaking residents. We could all meet at a local restaurant and share stories and develop some friendships. Does anyone have an interest in doing this. I am thinking January 6th or 7th 2012. Anyone there know a good place to meet up. I'll keep in touch by email if I get a good response. I am a retired ex-corporate crazy person who is single and fun loving. It would be great to have a mix of different orientations and other crazy expats......JS
