people throw trash on the street

People throw trash on the streets and don't give it a second thought. So when you're walking around there's garbage in the gutters and if the wind picks up there's paper and plastic and cardboard in the air. Even my 5 year old knows better. Seriously, is there no shame? Or maybe I should say is there no pride?
