Some of your favorite things!

Bring some of your favorite things... If you don't you will regret it for a long time! Your treasures will bring you comfort and they probably mean a whole lot more to you than anyone who would buy it at your yard sale.

Photos and wall pictures pack and travel well... but leave the glass and the frames behind.

Bring your favorite/helpful/useful books. Cookbooks, resource books,etc.
It is difficult to get books in English here.
Same for music and DVD's.

You already bought it, you love it and it probably can't be replaced down here.
The CD's, DVD's, MP3's and MP4's and the like down here are often pirated--- poor quality!

Jango.com has some great collections of American music to add to your music.

Some books, flashcards, etc. for kids and adults, in English, suitable to use for teaching ESL/EFL will be valuable and are difficult to get here.

If you are a woman who is plus size, by all means, bring clothing, outerwear, underwear, footwear, ETC!

---Enough to last until you go back for a visit.
Formal, casual, for cold, hot, rainy weather... Santa Cruz, BO weather is highly changeable and when it's cold, it's COLD, when it's hot or windy it is, well, you get the picture...
