Taxback.com has been chosen to represent Ireland in the 2010 European Business Awards. This is the third major award for the company with CEO Terry Clune winning 'Entrepreneur of the Year' in October 2009 and the company being named a Deloitte Best Managed Company in Ireland in March.
The
European Business Awards is an independent awards programme designed to recognise and promote excellence, best practice and innovation in the European business community.
Celebrating its fourth year, the Awards highlight and promote examples of individuals and organisations that have proven themselves to have the ability to innovate and generate financial growth, despite economic challenges.
As a Country Representative taxback.com will now be judged by a prestigious panel of economists, academics, business leaders, politicians and media owners. The top scoring company in each category will go on to become a Ruban d'Honneur recipient. Winners of the Ruban d'Honneur will be announced on July 29.
"We are delighted to be going forward to represent Ireland in these prestigious awards," said taxback.com Managing Director Fidelma McGuirk. "It is an honour that
Taxback.com has been recognised as a company that has achieved outstanding results."
Adrian Tripp, Chief Executive of the European Business Awards, said: "Each year we witness impressive entries from some outstanding companies who have some great stories to tell. This year is no different; the quality of applicants is rising as are the number of entrants, so these organisations who have achieved Country Representative status truly are the best of the best."
