Taxback.com has been named one of Ireland's Best Managed Companies for 2009. The annual Deloitte Best Managed Companies Awards promote and recognise excellence in Irish-owned and managed companies. This years awards were held in Dublin on Friday March 5th in association with Bank of Scotland (Ireland), and were attended by the Taoiseach, Mr Brian Cowen T.D.,

2009 was a hugely successful year for taxback.com with our CEO Terry Clune being named Irish Entrepreneur of the Year in October, while in September the company's International Community Outreach Programme was shortlisted for the Chambers Ireland's President's Awards for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

This was the first time the company, which has more than 600 staff in 20 countries, had entered the Deloitte awards.

To become one of the winners, taxback.com had to compete in a rigorous independent process that evaluates the calibre of their management abilities and practices including strategy, capability, commitment, financials and growth potential across all key functions of the business.

Taxback.com CEO Terry Clune said it was wonderful to be recognised amongst other top Irish businesses for the awards.
